Senior Payroll SpecialistHybrid workThe Senior Payroll Specialist will coordinate the payrolls for Alexion and AZ entities with external providers. This individual will contribute to the ongoing maintenance and development of accurate and efficient payroll processes and procedures in compliance with the local applicable labor laws. This individual will contribute to year-end payroll closures and payroll audit coordination.What you will do:Process monthly payrolls by payroll cycle.Accountable for preparation/provision of monthly payroll instructions to external payroll providers, monitoring results, and validating accuracy.Ensuring all stock plan adjustments are processed through the relevant country payroll according to local legislation.Payroll processing for expatriate employees (liaise with Global Mobility and Tax advisers).Ensure accurate and timely payroll performance for assigned entities in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements.Processing payments of net pay via Internet banking.Coordination of Taxes/Social Charges, Pensions, Insurance payments.Respond to / address HR and/or employee queries arising on supported payrolls.Develop strong working relationships with the external payroll vendors and internal departments.Keep him/herself informed and trained on the latest payroll regulations/updates for entities supported.Ensures compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines (GDPR).Support payroll implementation activities in connection with mergers and acquisitions.Support global payroll operations goals and objectives.Whom we are looking for:Minimum 3 years of experience in processing global payroll.
