We invite you to join us.We are now seeking talented Senior Civil Engineer - Transport Planning to join our brand-new office in Lisboa, Portugal.This critical role will work as part of the Infrastructure team, developing traffic studies for different types of projects. Responsibilities We envisage success in this role to include:Preparing traffic study designs following the project scope, such as access and circulation studies, transportation impact studies and transportation master plans.Developing strategic and micro-simulation transport models.Analysing parking layouts including supply and demand calculations.Ensuring all calculations are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Authority Standards and Codes of Practice as per the project location and requirements.Coordinating and day-to-day coaching to junior staff within this discipline. Coordinating and giving technical guidance to CAD Technicians / BIM Technicians to produce drawings and models.Preparing and reviewing of technical reports, design drawings, and other deliverables.Lead the discipline’s team.Monitoring the technical quality of the projects to ensure that the projects delivered to Clients are of the highest technical quality and engineering practice standard.Coordinating with other disciplines to achieve a fully integrated design.Liaising with the Client and Authority representatives to obtain design approvals, as necessary.Providing discipline’s input for technical proposals for submission to external parties. Qualifications To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with preference in the specialized field of Traffic or Transportation. We welcome all levels of experience, with more than 10 years of experience in a similar position. Having a membership of a professional institution is desirable.Furthermore, you should demonstrate:Proven experience in the traffic studies.Proficiency in software such as Autodesk AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.Knowledge in BIM is an advantage.Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.KEO’s performance is founded upon integrity, results, innovation, safety and our people.
