Overview of role :

  • This role is to join the Media Research team and to be the guardian of the Cision DACH database, maintaining the accuracy and detail of German media data through productive research. Language speciality: German/English.
  • You will support our PR clients with the DACH media database and day-to-day queries and as such should possess excellent customer service skills. The Customer Service position includes safeguarding data quality and compliance measures to service the Cision databases.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Support PR clients with information pertaining to journalist data, in accordance with our agreed service levels
  • Support Journalists with information pertaining to their profiles and entries on Cision database
  • Researching and verification of journalist data, and updating the database accordingly in line with Data Protection
  • Maintain the accuracy of the database through productive research and data entry
  • Managing time efficiently to meet personal KPIs
  • Build relationships with internal teams
  • Ensure customer satisfaction

Skill set & qualities required :

  • Previous online Customer Service & database entry experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work
  • Ability to conduct productive research via internet and telephone
  • Relationship building and maintaining relationships
  • Able to multi-task
  • Experience in the media industry is ideal but not necessary
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Self-motivation: Target and data-driven. Meets objectives and standards on own initiative including repetitive tasks.
  • Teamwork: team player with an interest in the business dynamics.
  • Organization: works systematically, uses time efficiently; ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines without direct supervision
