We are looking for a word-wizard to help us with product descriptions. If you love talking and writing about skincare, haircare, and makeup, we want you for our team! You will need to be able to fully communicate in EN-US, particularly written, in order to produce amazing and accurate product descriptions that will help guide our clients to the best products for their needs. Additionally, you will be helping to keep the website updated by choosing the right filter options for each product you describe, as well as placing them in the correct categories.
As you may have already noticed, Care to Beauty is an online store that sells cosmetic, health, wellness, and beauty products. We stock products from the best European brands and ship them all over the world. As a Content Writer, you will have the chance to produce content for our global audience on the official Care to Beauty website. That means you will have to be up to date on industry news and trends to ensure relevant, accurate content for your site visitors and customers.
In the beginning, your contract will be with a staffing agency, or if you prefer, you can act as an independent contractor. We expect you to work between 20 and 30 hours a week. Ideally, we will communicate Mon-Fri from 9 AM to 6 PM, but you can adjust your schedule to create content when it suits you best. That said, you can easily understand that our priority will be the output rather than working hours.
As a Content Writer in our company, you will be responsible for :
- Writing and improving product descriptions and product pages
- Creating SEO-friendly copy, meta tags, titles, and page descriptions to enhance search visibility and organic web traffic
Required skills and experience :
- Content writing or copywriting experience
- Excellent communication skills (PT and EN)
- EN-US writing expertise, level C1 that can be proven by test
- Passion for and good knowledge of beauty and cosmetics
- Comfortable with skincare, makeup, and haircare jargon
- Excellent attention to detail, with high standards for quality
- Able to comfortably work in a fast-paced environment
- Tech-savvy and with good knowledge of MS Office tools (mainly Teams and Excel)
Nice to have :
- Basic understanding of HTML concepts
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts
