This role is crucial to our business success in the forthcoming years and combines process expertise and technical expertise to use data to improve processes through Efficiency. This role is focused on the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes and the quality of the output. It is a customer focused role where you will be working directly with internal customers to help develop business requirements, guide the business to deliver their own solutions and take ownership of building more complex solutions to meet business needs. Therefore this role focuses on being comfortable with engaging and managing the business alongside having the technical competencies required to deliver robust, scalable and insightful solutions to the UK. The position requires Data Subject Expert expertise mixed with a hands on mentality. Your key responsibility is to support and implement process improvements, through Automation and data analytics, but also supporting the day to day tasks of Service Delivery.

Key Responsibilities

You will be providing support to the UK Team to build strong and efficient business processes.

  • Simplify processes and strive for efficiency and effectiveness
  • On-going training and coaching of the teams to introduce all updates and process automations to improve their efficiencies
  • Creation and update of procedures
  • Implement the necessary controls to guaranty that all the RPAs are compliant with the regulatory rules
  • Be the link between the Teams and the Developers using data as a driver
  • Analysing data to identify trends
  • Setting up processes and systems to make working with data more efficient
  • Researching new ways to make use of data
  • Producing reports and charts communicating trends within data to non-specialists
  • Presenting information generated from data to clients and managers
  • Using specialist tools to extract the data needed

person specification: Key Requirements : Person Specification

  • Be a graduate in the field of computing, electrical engineering, management of information systems or similar, or have gained relevant working experience
  • Willingness to work in the area Automation and Data Analytics
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence to build good working relationships at all levels, and ask questions to ensure requirements and rationale are understood
  • Highly motivated with a hands on approach to driving solutions for the team, a “do whatever it takes approach” will be critical from the outset
  • Strong attention to detail in producing high quality output and the ability to maintain this when under pressure
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to analyse processes, define a solution and proceed to self-report processes

You will ideally have:

  • Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyse data
  • Knowledge of programming languages like SQL
  • Knowledge with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages in Excel and PowerBI
  • _- Experience of data visualization software like PowerBI
  • Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, programming (ETL frameworks, e.g. Alteryx ), databases (e.g. MS Access and SQL Server)
  • Knowledge of RPA tools ( UiPath ) is a plus
  • Experience in pre-analysing the scope of demand for better project management
