Senior Cloud (SaaS) Architect

Are you an experienced cloud architect with strong ownership skills? Do you think that cloud-native is not just technology, but a mindset? Do you want to put the latest technologies to use for hundreds of customers in different industries?

Responsibilities

• Owning a highly scalable architecture for our SaaS platform
• Guide the transformation from Single-tenant to Multi-tenant SaaS
• Setting architectural guidelines for our teams, encouraging automation and a Cloud-native mindset
• Owing the security and data privacy architecture
• Transform the strategy as defined by the CTO into a technology roadmap and drive execution with the teams
• Setting the cloud technology vision for the company

Requirements :

• 5+ years of experience designing, executing, and supporting cloud solutions based on AWS cloud-based environments and have managed significant production workloads on such systems before
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture patterns
• Working experience with Terraform
• Well known with a managed Kubernetes and Docker platform (on the public cloud) and able to manage workloads that scale well, are secure by default and meet high availability demands.
• Solid architecture, design, and implementation experience with event-driven and data streaming design patterns
• A proven track record in leading architectural decisions & driving innovation
• Besides our basic requirements, you should feel comfortable with our technology stack.
• Huge bonus points for a background in fintech, payments or banking!
• Strong knowledge of professional software engineering, e.g. SOLID principles, Clean Code, Separation of Concerns
• Outstanding analytical and communication skills (English) with strong advisory skills

Nice to have

• You have managed workloads in environments where a high level of security implementation, such as ISO27001, SOC2 or PCI/DSS
• Experience with AWS Security hub, CloudWatch and Config is an advantage

• Main Back End technologies: Python, ElasticSearch, Postgres, Django, Django Rest Framework, Docker, AWS Lambdas.
• Other technologies in our stack: Kafka, ReactJS, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Lambda, Terraform, AWS (Cloud-watch, Redis, S3, SNS, Cognito)

Development tools : Gitlab CI/CD, Cypress, VS

Collaboration tools : Jira, Miro, Confluence, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Figma, Slack
