EMESA L&D Manager – Analytics & Controlling​

WHAT YOU'LL DO You will have a key role in all analytics required for the Regional L&D team, with a focus on Budgeting and controlling. The L&D activities are essential for consulting staff in building core capabilities, helping them to develop their regional network and providing them with key affiliation opportunities. You will be working closely with a variety of stakeholders in ensuring accurate controlling, including ensuring all expenditure is accounted for, constant monitoring of the budget, and related activities such as support with year-end financial processes. You are also the team go-to for analytics, such as support with metrics, automation, both on ad-hoc and ongoing basis. It will be important to balance learner needs, budgetary requirements, and BCG’s strategy and business needs. You will also need to work closely with program owners, the BCG finance department, and other stakeholders. Additionally, you will lead the analysis of the ROI of our trainings, feedback, EVP vs. cost, and support the EMESA L&D leadership team to take long-term strategic decisions on how and where to invest. Our training programs include but are not limited to Consulting Foundations, Advanced Consulting Program, Experienced Consulting Program, Project Leadership Foundations, Client Leadership Foundations, Commercial Readiness, and Women’s Training. YOU'RE GOOD AT We are looking for someone who relishes working in an internationally diverse team and who has the drive and ambition to improve the approach to the role. You will need to be comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and be ready to take your seat at the table in financial discussions. As an individual you are passionate about analytics, and highly organised. You should be able to learn new technologies and systems quickly, be confident and comfortable in a virtual setting. Limited, but some, travel will be required on occasion. To be successful you will need to have the ability to think on your feet, to problem solve and to communicate at all levels in order to deliver quality experiences for our participants and trainers. You will also need to show that you can operate independently as well as having the ability to work as a team, that you can handle multiple tasks at one time and that you have the experience in adapting to last minute changes and demands. YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) We are looking for this person to have: A passion and interest in Learning & Development, with a degree in any discipline 3-5 plus years work experience in an analytics focused role where you have worked in a highly demanding team and influenced stakeholders is ideal. Professional services experience is preferred Good understanding of BCG business and learners’ needs Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, skills in Alteryx preferred Fluency in the English language (oral and written) Microsoft Office skills beyond Excel (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) YOU'LL WORK WITH A passionate and dedicated Learning & Development team, who are currently spread across Europe and India.
