Primary Role & Responsibilities: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings with finesse and purpose. Guide the Scrum Team in understanding Scrum and Agile principles and values. Promote a creative and comfortable team environment where ideas can be shared openly. Orchestrate the Scrum process by coordinating the Scrum team in Agile methodology. Support and educate the Product Owner concerning refining and managing the product backlog. Identify and remove impediments to progress, facilitating discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution. Guide the team and organization using Agile/Scrum practices and principles to achieve business goals and exceed customer expectations. Ensure smooth interdependency management by overseeing and aligning team capacity, prioritization, software quality, and meeting committed deadlines. Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher maturity levels at a sustainable and comfortable pace for the team and the organization. Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, emphasizing problem-solving. Skills & Experience: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as part of an Agile team in a software development environment 3+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master. Knowledge of other Agile approaches, like Kanban, Lean, XP (Extreme Programming), etc. Experience with Agile project management tools like Atlassian suite (Jira, confluence) or similar. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Possess strong mentoring skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Passion for detail and ‘the little things’ Ability to understand technical issues at a high level. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment. Possess an unwavering curiosity to learn and enhance mobile app experiences. Ability to work synchronized with Portugal, France, Canadian and US time zones. In addition, efficiency, integrity, organization, proactivity, enthusiasm and adaptability are the soft skills that will make you succeed in this position.
