To safeguard the company’s business objectives, ensure its delivery against strategic opportunities, and protect the company against emerging uncertainties, highly professional and industry-leading risk management and internal controls practice is required. The Risk & Controls (R&C) function within PMI defines, leads, monitors the risk management, and internal controls practices and drives the various activities surrounding it. YOUR DAY TO DAY - Perform testing and reporting activities for SOX exercise. - Participate in the migration of controls to be tested on behalf the Affiliates. - Provide support to external and corporate auditors. - Ensure compliance with the Company's Practices and Functional Standards. Implement best practices in processes. Actively collaborate in the design and implementation of financial, operational and compliance controls in migrated processes or during reviews or advisories. - Provide adequate advisories to projects and initiatives. Detect improvement in the control environment. - Contribute to properly comply with the Risk Assessment Plan. - Promote risk culture in the organization by regularly engaging with the stakeholders and communicating updates/changes in the risk landscape and related responses. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent. - 2+ years of experience and strong knowledge of Audit or Finance Area. - Ability to communicate (written and verbal) fluently in English (Portuguese and Spanish knowledge is a plus). - Management of SAP, Power point and Excel tools (knowledge of Macros is a plus). - Strong communication and customer-oriented skills. - Proactive profile, able to work in dynamic environments with strong problem-solving competencies, ability to translate findings into solutions and good interpersonal relationship and teamwork. - Knowledge & experience of the SOX program.
