Senior GL Accountant M/F - French Speaker

Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented, hands-on and passionate Senior GL Accountant to strenghten our France-based Finance Team. Collaborating closely with our thriving French operations, you will play a key role in supporting and further enhancing our financial processes.As a full member of French GL accounting team, responsibilities will include, among others:Booking and checking of all type of accounting entries in scope and the GL accounting cyclesManagement and follow-up of fixed assets and amortizationTaking part in the GL analysis and reconciliation of both balance sheet and P&L accounts in the context of monthly closings as well as taxation issuesAssist with group reporting into Hyperion Financial ManagementActive participation on both statutory audit (PWC) and internal audits within scopeStrong involvement in the monthly/quarterly/yearly closingsPossibility to reply to specific needs from other accounting processes (Cash Management / AP / AR ….)Candidate profileExperiences and QualificationsWe believe that you are/have:University degree, preferably in Accounting & Finance, Management, Economics or similarGood knowledge of Accounting, intercompany processes, Tax issues, IFRSAround 5 years in a similar position with experience in group reporting (mandatory)Good level of French is mandatory, in addition to good knowledge of either Portuguese or EnglishExperience as an ERP user (ORACLE, SAP, SAGE)Good MsOffice skills (particularly in Excel)Detail-oriented and able to solve problemsAbility to prosper in a dynamic international/multicultural complex environmentFlexibility and ability to work autonomouslyEager to learn and grow with the teamStrong fit with our Company DNAPassionate in Everything We Do: Our people have a sense of energy that is unmistakable, one that drives us to delight our customers and focus on creating impact quickly.Committed to Making a Difference: When we say we will do something; we deliver with excellence.
