Your Key Responsibilities As a Experienced Staff/Senior Consultant of Public Sector Strategy at EY Parthenon, you will have a dynamic and strategic role in the following activities:
- Design and development of economic studies for municipalities, regional institutions, and companies; including economic and social impact evaluations for business projects, infrastructures, and investments at regional and national levels;
- Conception and technical elaboration of territorial development strategies (municipal, inter-municipal and regional), respective action plans, and operational recommendations specific to public entities;
- Development of studies and projects for the public sector in Portugal and the EU, mainly focused on European Cohesion Policy, and European funds and grants;
- Development of business competitiveness studies and strategic analysis for companies and territories, including sectoral analyses, market studies, and investment and internationalisation strategies;
- Data analysis to support strategic decisions and preparation of technical documentation;
- Development of macroeconomic, prospective, and contextual analyses for the national, European and international contexts;
- Development of thematic studies in diverse fields (education, talent, employment, rural and urban development, economic competitiveness, among others).

To qualify for the role, you must have
- A Bachelor or Master's degree in Economics or related;
- Between 1-6 years of work experience, preferably in public policies, in particular economic affairs, regional economy, and territorial development strategies;
- Some experience and/or knowledge of economic studies and EU funding;
- Full proficiency in Portuguese and English;
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint management;
- Analytical skills and statistical knowledge;
- Willingness to travel in Portugal or abroad;
- Driving licence required.
