Hiscox Europe, which includes Germany, France, Benelux, Iberia and Ireland, is currently hiring a Delivery manager to leverage its OutSystems framework capabilities, whose primary focus will be to set up, manage and lead the OutSystems Ecosystem.

person specification: How will you help us? With your technical hands-on experience in OutSystems framework delivery and your team and third-party management skills

  • Experience managing and leading IT teams on a technical delivery role (2+ years as OutSystems Tech Lead), including previous experience working within an agile environment.
  • Previous experience managing mixed teams with internal and external staff, including strong 3rd party management skills.
  • Solid experience in integrating with other systems (REST and SOAP APIs).
  • OutSystems certification is a plus.
  • Experience working with insurance companies is a plus.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills, additional language (German, French, Spanish, or Dutch) is a plus.

What we expect from you? To manage the OutSystems ecosystem and lead the implementation and the evolution of the domain to the next level

  • Define, implement and maintain, processes, standards and practices to ensure the setup and governance of the OutSystems factory.
  • Manage and develop the OutSystems capability on a mixed resourcing approach with internal staff and 3rd party services provider, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Primary point of contact for the delivery of change and 3rd line support team under the OutSystems domain.
  • Analyse project/backlog requirements working with architecture and delivery teams to ensure that requirements are feasible and that a reasonable timeline of actionable events is laid out before any development begins.
  • Perform delivery planning and prioritization in conjunction with business stakeholders and delivery teams managing cross-team dependencies and backlogs, including change, support/defects and improvements.
  • Monitor market trends and best practices, sponsor and manage OutSystems ecosystem enhancement activities aligned with best practices.
  • Represent the Technology Team within the wider organisation, act as the SME advisor and point of contact on OutSystems capability topics with active participation both on BAU and projects.
