We embrace diversity in thought and contribution and are committed to providing an equitable work environment that is foundational to our core values as a company and is vital to our success.What you’ll be doing:Be responsible for the facility infrastructure maintenance (both electrical & mechanical) and, prepare and perform planned maintenancePerform site inspections and supervise the building and IBX (data centre) alarmsEnsure preventative maintenance on site infrastructure is run (e.g. maintenance of primary infrastructures), or handled by vendors with your oversightDevelop ability to maintain repairs and run corrective maintenance on equipmentComplete site logs and gather data for permits, such as MOPs and scripts which is a key part of this positionAssist senior staff with responding to all on-site incidents and act as directedMay be requested to begin responding to basic incidents based on own knowledge and experienceComplete basic work requests and circuit installationsContribute to ongoing infrastructure projects and carry out small works projects i.e. lighting upgrades etcWork Shift pattern.Resolve Client Tickets via Equinix Ticket system as per SLAReport any H&S issues to immediate line managerWhat we expect from you:Qualification in Electrical / Mechanical EngineeringPrevious data centre / critical environment experienceBroad knowledge of critical infrastructure i.e. UPS, generator, BMS, chillers, life safety systemsSelf-motivation and flexibilityWillingness to work shifts (days, nights & weekends)Ability to clearly communicate with the customerDesiredFully qualified apprenticeshipHV Switching experienceBasic understanding of Maximo, Power BI, MS-Office (Word/Excel) or similar tools.What we'll be offering:Comprehensive and market-competitive remuneration packagePermanent Health Insurance (PHI)You are entitled to 23 days holiday per annum in addition to any statutory holidaysRestaurant Tickets and partly subsidised mealsEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (‘ESPP’)Excellent growth and advancement opportunitiesInternal training/development hub with continuous formative plans available to allAn inclusive, balanced and friendly culture with our embedded ethos in which to strive onEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)Data show that many applicants apply for a job when they have 100% of what is required.
