Our industry-leading, trendsetting edge-to-core solutions provide the foundation for many of the world’s largest and most demanding networks that generate billions in service revenue for our customers.Commercial Proposal & Pricing Analyst Candidates with 1-5 years industrial experience would be successful at a commercial analyst level in the team. Infinera design & deliver bespoke network solutions for our customers to build the next generation of optical networks. Our solutions are completely unique to each customer, location and project. They can involve equipment, software and services across multiple locations – think of data centers across a continent or a subsea cable from Boston to Bordeaux. Proposals can be $10 million+ in value and are very complex. Working with the regional commercial managers you will be responsible for reviewing proposal & business cases which include pricing, terms & conditions and legal & contracts. It is a very broad job that will give you lots of exposure across the business including Sales, Services, Legal, Finance, Product Line Management etc.Responsibilities Commercial AnalysisConduct deal analysis using commercial management tools such as Anaplan, CPQ Salesforce and others.Review deal approvals requests within the SLA times and work with stakeholders to resolve any issuesPropose commercial responses to come up with a winning strategy by maximizing revenue & profit.Drive business growth by continually improving margins and business terms. Pricing Guide Management Defining pricing strategies in close collaboration with PLM and Services.Conducting price benchmarking analyses to ensure competitiveness.Evaluating the most suitable and cost-effective solution.Commercial & Legal Single Point of Contact Aligning with contract subject matter experts (i.e., legal, finance, revenue technical, services, PLM, etc.).Modifying and counter proposing acceptable terms and conditions.Implementing contracts upon completion into CRM, SalesforcePartnering with the sales team to complete commercial specific point-by-point responses.Deal Approval Manager Distributing approval requests to Tier 1, 2, or 3 as per Deal Approval Charter guidelines.Determining deal assessment that warrant Tier 1 that will “move the needle” based on strategic accounts, deal size, gross margin, T&Cs.Qualifications & Experience Degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Finance or and MBAProficient with Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, Anaplan or other commercial softwareAbility to work to tight deadlines & manage concurrent proposalsExperience in a Business Analyst, Finance Analyst, Bid Analyst or a Commercial role.Would suit a candidate from the following sectors – Telecoms, Software & Hardware Business, Technology, and Professional Services.Experience working in corporate environments and collaborating with colleagues in different locations and departmentsBe a self-starter and take the initiative to work with all internal Infinera colleagues across all functions.
