GBS is looking for a French Accountant Specialist to be based in Santa Maria da Feira.

The main missions of the role are:

• Ensure compliance with accounting French rules and Group standards and legislation;
• Prepare tax and legal French declarations;
• Ensure the closure of monthly and annual accounts in coordination with the GBS;
• Participation in specific listed holding activities: Tax integration; Accounting for securities transactions; Annual legal accounts brochure integrated into the universal registration document;
• Participate in departmental transformation projects: process improvement, integration of new companies, automation, etc.
• Education level: Degree or Master Degree in accountant or similar
• Very good computer skills (MS Office-Excel), Knowledge of SAP is a plus;
• Experience in an accounting firm environment and/or large group;
• Familiar with reporting tools;
• Curious, autonomous, culturally agile in search of responsibility;
• Good communication skills in English (mandatory).
