for one of our clients, a national premium retail company. The position is based in Porto.
In our recruitment and training consultancy we work with different firms in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors around Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Munich, Braga and Amsterdam.
JOB DESCRIPTION OF THE DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION :
As an inspiring leader, dynamic, engaging and energetic professional, the International Expansion Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to launch new markets (countries) and contribute to the company's ongoing development. Together with management, define the roadmap for international expansion. Implementing the international expansion strategy and the organizational structure of the company and its brands to launch and sustain growth in various geographical regions. Lead and manage the deadlines for international expansion projects. Manage our high-performing international expansion team with experience in designing, developing, managing, delivering and operating expansion programs. Analyze and report on key factors affecting the performance and speed of international expansion, presenting regular updates to senior management. Advising and selecting external regional partners and being their main point of contact, as well as being responsible for budgets and negotiations with external partners.
Requirements:
More than 5 years' experience in project management in the retail sector. Fluent English. Proven experience in developing international expansion strategies in retail sector, scenarios, recommendations and decisions based on comprehensive data analysis and benchmarking. Familiarity with company law and international expansion best practices. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Ability to work as part of a team, independently and take on your own responsibilities.
