Senior Application Support Engineer

Description DESCRIPTIONOur client is a multinational universal bank and financial services holding company. Currently, we are looking Application Support Engineer with an expertise in AS to make our team even stronger. Responsibilities Follow up user requests in 2STRACK/Service Now Assure response time is adequate to the priority of the issues reported (SLA) Interact with the software vendor assuring good the communication and response time Identify user training needs and provide them the application knowledge Identify product gaps or weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement, as needed Log defects/issues with the system providing the scenario/logs etc Escalate any critical/outstanding issues to the management Perform support and analysis of reported issues, and evaluate alternative business solutions and workarounds to minimize the impacts coordinating with the Production Support team any change or any query that might appear Ensure a smooth follow up of all technical processes (WebSphere, Java, MQ, CFT/SFTP) Manage incidents according to Service Delivery / ITIL Standards, and in coordination with other teams, including production/infrastructure teams Requirements Ability to work in fast paced global environment 2+ years of relevant Support/IT experience Prior experience understanding functional specifications, process flow diagrams and procedures UNIX/Linux knowledge SQL/Oracle knowledge Experience with different file transfer protocols e.g. FTP/SFTP, MQ, CFT Upper-Intermediate level of English, both spoken and written (B2+) Ready to work in an office 2 times a week Nice to have Prior experience with job schedulers e.g. Autosys 11.3.6, Control-M Understanding of system architectures such as SSO, Firewalls, load balancer etc We Offer Competitive compensation depending on experience and skills Variety of projects within one company Being a part of a project following engineering excellence standards Individual career path and professional growth opportunities Internal events and communities Flexible work hours
