If this sounds like you, then we can't wait to hear from you!As our Tax Team Leader, you'll play a crucial role in our Infineon Tax team. Your main responsibility will be focused on leading a team that ensures all tax compliance and reporting obligations are met. Additionally, you'll be expected to develop and maintain a high level of expertise in your field. By continuously monitoring and implementing effective solutions, you'll drive process efficiency and compliance. Overall, you'll be a key player in enhancing our team's performance and contributing to the company's success. In your new role, you will:Lead a dedicated team of VAT compliance operations staff;Responsible for leading VAT controls and reporting activities and adherence to statutory requirements and legislation at a country level;Monitor team tasks performance and check progress of agreed transactions and processes to ensure timely completion;Ownership of the team performance and the quality and effectiveness of the services delivered to the organization.Manages VAT compliance relevant data-related transactions with involved internal and external parties;Maintains internal procedures and implements new procedures according to business and compliance needs;Responds to operations-related inquiries, as an escalation point of contact;Reports accurately and timely to Local and Global Tax function heads;Liaises with functionally involved Management and Professionals on an operational basis;People development in line with employee needs and digital transformation within the area;Support and participation in projects successful outcomes.A strong leader is essential to inspire and motivate their team, provide clear direction, and foster a positive and productive work environment. You are poised to make a significant impact within your organization, and your continued growth as a leader will only increase your effectiveness and success You are best equipped for this role if you have:A Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxes, or another relevant area;At least 3 years of experience in a Tax role, preferably in an international and multicultural environment;Proven experience in team management or leadership;Experience in managing relationships between Tax Services and different Accounting areas;Thorough knowledge of European VAT regulation; Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Experience in SAP;Fluency in English.
