Raw Material Purchasing Controller (m/f/d)

JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Group Purchasing Controlling team is looking for a new team member, located in Lousado (Portugal). The new team member will be reporting to the Team Lead Raw Materials Controlling and Sourcing Companies in Hanover (Germany). The team member will be responsible for some major activities in the Raw Materials (RM) controlling for the sectors Tires and ContiTech: Preparation, coordination, and consolidation of budget and forecast related processes;Expert in the material price forecast of a few of the major RM clusters;Regular monitoring, analysis, and identification of internal and external material price drivers. E. g. feedstock development, consumption volume, fees, prices, logistics costs, negotiations, and contract specifications;Information exchange with buyers, internal experts, and other stakeholders;Maintenance and continuous improvement of MS-Office based tools and processes;Reporting related to raw material prices;Ad-hoc analyses for purchasing and sector management on raw material price and spend development;Back up on regular tasks under the responsibility of other team members;Involvement in projects. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE University degree in economics or comparable field of study;1-3 years of professional experiences in Controlling, ideally in Purchasing Controlling;Strong analytical skills;Expert in MS Office; Advanced know-how of Power BI is an advantage;Interest in raw material markets;Excellent communication and presentation skills;Fluent English;High ability to work in a (virtual) team;Intercultural competence.
