We help our customers find innovative solutions to fit their needs.We are offering job opportunities for a PCB DESIGN TECHNICIAN, who, integrated in the global engineering team and interfacing with research and development centers located in the United States, Canada, Sweden and the United Kingdom, will carry out activities in the following areas:Responsibilities:Create and maintain schematic diagrams, considering component selection and design objectives communicated by the Hardware DesignersDevelop PCB layouts according to design rules and best practices, industry-specific standards and manufacturability guidelinesManage component libraries, and be responsible for producing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentationConduct design reviews and work with cross-functional teams to address feedback and make necessary revisionsParticipate in the development of best practices and design guidelinesSpecific training:Technical degree or certification in Electronics Design, PCB Design or similarStrong knowledge in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design principles and best practices, from the design of an electrical schematic to the generation of a full multi-layer board layoutExperience with ECAD tools such as Altium (preferable), Cadence, Eagle, Proteus, OrCAD Excellent knowledge of spoken and written EnglishStrong attention to detail, organized, methodical and with a problem-solving mindsetA passion for not just getting the job done, but getting the job done well.Allient is a global organization designing advanced technologies for the most challenging and innovative markets.
