Through our activities in the dredging, off-shore, infrastructure and environmental sectors, we work to bring tailor made solutions to our customers’ projects helping them to be safer, more cost effective and sustainable.  Now you can help us to plot a course into the future of maritime engineering on your DEME journey as a Party Chief.  Your responsibilities Our Survey department is a key player, ensuring precision in hydrographic and topographic measurements at every project phase. We are on the lookout for a driven and enthusiastic Party Chief to lead our survey team on our offshore vessels, equipped with cutting-edge survey equipment. As a Party Chief on our Offshore vessels, you lead the offshore survey team on board, optimizing productivity and efficiency while maintaining a transparent and effective communication with key project stakeholders: Project Management, Client representatives, Vessel master and crew. You meticulously monitor the progress and the quality of the works by using survey equipment and software and you ensure the timely production of survey deliverables, consistently meeting the highest quality standards.  To conclude: You are a key member of the vessel team with Captain, Chief Engineer & OIM to ensure the project success. Your profile·        You have at least five years of relevant experience as a Surveyor, preferably in the offshore industry·        You are familiar with survey techniques & software, such as Qinsy or similar·        You have practical acumen and can adapt easily to a challenging and remote environment·        You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills·        You have a natural ability to empower and motivate other team members, such as junior surveyors·        Your work reflects your precision and commitment to high-quality standards and safety·        You are fluent in both spoken and written English, and any additional language proficiencies are valuable ·        You are willing to work on board of one of our vessels in a 5 weeks on/5 weeks off rotation schedule What you can expect:·        No two days the same: With projects all over the world across multiple sectors, there’s always something new to add to our 140 years of know-how. ·        Awesome colleagues: An amazing, international team fully dedicated to exploring new horizons, together. ·        An environment where you can flourish: The perfect combination of the freedom to make the role your own and collaborative, supportive teamwork. ·        Continuous development: a training pathway that allows you to develop yourself personally and professionally.·        Exploration: The opportunity to develop and explore your own horizons with locations across the globe.·        An extensive mobility program for a healthy work-life balance.·        A people-oriented environment with an interactive health program and a focus on employee wellbeing Where Next?
