The Quality Control Technician will primarily be responsible for performing analytical chemistry quality control testing to ensure the highest quality, potency and purity of Tilray products. Role and Responsibilities Performing required analytical chemistry for quality control samples; Delivering data, documenting test results and response on time to meet the timelines defined; Assisting in development and maintenance of validated quality control methods; Maintaining high quality laboratory documentation in accordance with applicable regulatory; guidance and Site Standard Operating Procedures; Performing calibration and maintenance on laboratory instruments; Perform analytical investigations for any OOS/OOT or OOE results; Proposing corrective actions and suggestions of improvement; Reviewing analytical data with quality and according to cGMP; Accomplishing the team objectives; Support new project from analytic point of view; Ensuring the proper disposal of all hazardous, chemical waste; SOPs and QC documentation elaboration. Qualifications and education requirements College diploma in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biotechnology, or equivalent, with 1 to 3 years of laboratory experience; Having a minimum of 1 year experience with HPLC, GC-MS, and other analytical instrumentation in a laboratory environment; Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines; Takes initiative and work with minimal supervision; Capacity for problem solving; Communicate effectively and diplomatically orally and in writing.
