Accountant

Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented, innovative, hands-on and passionate Accountant to join our Shared Services Center Team, with colleagues in France, Norway, Ireland and UK. The role will report to the Shared Services Center Manager and will be based in Lisbon.This is an exciting new established role that will be working together with senior professionals across our European markets and interact with local operations. This Accountant will be a key member of the team and play a critical role to achieve this objective.Responsibilities will include, among others:Cost analysisAccruals and ReconciliationsFixed assetsHFM and Oracle reportsPoint of Contact for internal and external stakeholdersReview and assure proper classification of cost center and accounts on Journal EntriesWeekly and Month-end closing procedures including Reconciliation reportAssist manager and peers on the daily activityPerforming ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as requiredCollaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislationReports and organization structureThis position will report directly to the Shared Services Center Manager, based in LisbonCandidate profileExperience and QualificationsWe see this role as critical for the achievement of Verisure’s growth and organizational transformation goals while the Shared Services Center aims for centralization and automation.
