Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, hands-on and passionate Junior Accountant to join our Shared Services Centre Team, with colleagues in Sweden, Ireland, France, Lisbon and more. The Junior Accountant will be a key member of the team and play a critical role to achieve this objective.Responsibilities will include, among others:Support Procure to Pay process: receiving and processing invoices, assure communication to and from allPoint of Contact for internal and external stakeholdersSupport reviewing and assuring proper classification of cost center and accounts on POsAssist manager and peers on the daily activityPerforming ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as requiredCollaboration with local finance specialists on accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislationRequirements:High school diploma or degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / BusinessStrong interest for AccountingExperienced professional with circa 2yrs track-record within Accounting in an international environmentFluent in written and spoken English (min. C1 – mandatory requirement). Knowledge of French, Swedish, or Portuguese is a plusAdvanced Ms Excel userAbility to work in a fast-paced international environmentHighly motivated and skillful at prioritizing requestsMethodical and detail-orientedEnjoys working with a variety of IT systems (prior experience w/Oracle ERP is valued)Organized and with an appetite for improving existing processesAn enthusiastic and high energy individual with a strong drive to create a positive work environmentExcellent written and oral presentation and communication skillsHumble and team-playerLocationThe position will be based in Lisbon (Portugal)Reports and organization structureThis position will report directly to the Shared Services Manager, based in LisbonAlvará 138C - MAI
