What you will learn and contribute to

As a Solution Architect for KINAXIS RapidReponse, you will be responsible for the functions and structure of our Supply Chain Planning Applications with a focus on Supply Planning

Ensures ongoing conformity with global architectures and compliance with IT regulations.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Propose, create and define solutions best fitting the business problems/needs and ensure that your proposed solutions are correctly analysed and planned.
  • Responsible for the creation of feature, architectural and solution documentation.
  • Provision of the functional features, including worksheets, dashboards and alerts through configuration to enable business value from innovative standard features and capabilities.
  • Guardian of planning software platforms to ensure they remain standard and do not become customised.
  • Challenge solution proposals from Software Vendors and System Integrators to ensure simplicity and usability for the business with a low cost of ownership.
  • Setup and facilitated System Integration test, coordinated user acceptance test (UAT), and data validation with key users during system deployments
  • Participate in defining the scope of releases to maximise business impact across E2E Supply Chain Planning Process considering the change management implications.

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Understands interfaces and has deep knowledge of integration capabilities of Kinaxis Rapid Response
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Good understanding of Cloud, SaaS, Mobile concepts, architectures, and standard deployment models
  • Capability to validate system solutions, design and propose alternatives from the process, change, business and technical viewpoints to best implement standard/out-of-the-box solutions
  • Experience evaluating the change management impact of a proposed solution
  • Ability to understand the process and solution architecture of E2E across multiple technologies
  • Comfortable with agile, DevOps and waterfall methodologies
  • Understanding of the relationship between costs, schedule, quality, and speed in defining a solution and making tradeoff recommendations
  • Ability to work autonomously in an international context
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in information technology, computer science, mathematics or an equivalent qualification, with at least 4-6 years of work experience, preferably in the Supply Chain Area and Kinaxis RapidResponse.
