Position Description: CGI is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. Your future duties and responsibilities: •The role as a QA Automation Engineer is to design, implement and maintain automated test scenarios. You will need to ensure that operational testing activities are implemented in compliance with the principles defined by the test strategy for the entrusted testing levels.•The role will involve close collaboration with business analysts, product owner and developers to comprehend the needs and contribute to the development of effective solutions.Requirements:•Experience in scripting and process/testing automation with knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and automation testing tools like Selenium, Cucumber and Junit;•Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Ruby, HTML, Gherkin, etc;•Knowledge of REST and API testing tools like REST Assured;•Knowledge and working experience in the BDD process/approach;•Git-flow like experience;•Experience with CI/CD and its processes;•Experience in Agile methodology;•Ability to work in a multi-cultural team in a teamwork and collaboration environment;•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team;•Proactive and flexible approach to dealing with challenges;•Problem solving and critical thinking skills;•Good communication skills.Main Tasks:•Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically;•Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system, ensuring requirements are covered using test cases;•Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios;•Analyze and guarantee that all type of tests is covered to ensure quality and security;•Set up/maintain Continuous Integration and reports production.
