Job Purpose: To support the Category/Business manager in all aspects of vendor operational management to ensure best in class data integrity, system tools and reporting.Responsibilities:Support end-to-end product and vendor lifecycle management, ensuring system accuracy and product adoption and creationSupport the vendor pricing strategy through collaboration with the profit team around exception and corrective managementManage the ship and debit process in conjunction with the central team in BarcelonaCollaborate with the purchasing team on provision management and stock allocationWork with Business Intelligence to produce sales out and stock reports and determine appropriate execution plan based on the findingsHold operational relationship with vendor peers, to discuss future products, forecasting and planning processes and product sell-outInput into and execution of the business plan in conjunction with the vendor business lead(s)Support the sales floor with pricing, ship and debit and general product queriesKnowledge Skills and ExperienceHighly numerateTime management and prioritising skillsGood communication skillsAdvanced MS Excel skillsCustomer FocusInitiativeInterpersonal SkillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyA knowledge of product and technology portfolioIT industry knowledge – Channel, Vendors, Programmes and Competition would be an advantageExperience of SAP R3 and Business Warehouse would be an advantageCommercial/product experience in a Technology business is preferableDegree in a business related subject is desirable / an advantageDistribution or vendor experience would be an advantageWhat’s In It For You?
