Job DescriptionJob Description:We are in search of an Analyst Developer with solid expertise in IBM i (AS/400) operating system, proficient in RPG IV and CL programming, and good knowledge of SQL. This individual will play a crucial role in our ADM (Application and Development and Maintenance) team. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English. The primary focus will be on an Investment Banking core application, involving responsibilities such as analysis, development, testing, clear and concise documentation creation, and regular status reporting on activities.Our projects operate under Agile/Scrum methodology, and we expect the candidate to be a collaborative team member while also demonstrating autonomy and proactiveness.In return, we offer a flexible and inclusive work environment, providing a challenging space for growth. We also have adopted a hybrid working model, allowing for a 60% remote and 40% office-based arrangement. The hiring process will include a Technical test (online platform).Must have: Solid knowledge in the IBM i (AS/400) operating system (Minimum 3 years of professional Experience)Expertise in RPG IV (both fixed and free format) and CL programming, including DSPF (display files) (Minimum 3 years of professional Experience)Good knowledge of SQL, particularly in a DB2 environmentStrong oral and written skills in EnglishNice to have:Academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldExperience in the field of Investment Banking, particularly with the Olympic banking systemFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and JiraMain Responsibilities:Communicate effectively and facilitate team interaction Translate the business requirements into functional specifications which include system design elements and detailed test plans for the proposed solution Developments, design, coding and testing of technical solutions that meet the business needs and match the specifications. Design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts Manage change requests related to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are maintained On a daily basis, provide effective and informative progress evaluations in terms of outstanding milestones, current status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies Assist in realization of project deadlines and schedules Communicate effectively and facilitate team interaction Technical Skills:Proven experience of analyzing, specification writing and software development, with a minimum of 3 years related experience.Good knowledge of IBM i (AS/400) operating system (Minimum 3 years of professional Experience)Good knowledge of RPG IV (both fixed and free format) and CL programming, including DSPF (display files)Good knowledge of SQL, particularly in a DB2 (Minimum 3 years of professional Experience) environmentGood knowledge of Olympic software is an advantageFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and JiraGood command of English both spoken and written
