HR Generalist

We are looking for a new team member to setup the human resources infrastructure and oversee shaping the company culture as we go into our growth phase. You'll have the unique opportunity to establish HR policies, processes, and programs, contributing directly to the success and growth of KIT-AR.

Your responsibilities will include: HR STRATEGY AND PLANNING :

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company objectives and growth plans.
  • Define HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance and promote a positive work environment.

TALENT ACQUISITION AND ONBOARDING :

  • Lead the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, to attract top talent
  • Develop onboarding programs that facilitate a seamless integration of new hires into the company culture.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT :

  • Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns or conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
  • Implement programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Establish performance management processes, including goal-setting, regular feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Guide managers on performance improvement plans and recognition programs.

  • Plan and coordinate cultural events, activities, and initiatives that strengthen team cohesion and morale.

COMPLIANCE AND LEGAL :

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Stay informed about HR trends and best practices to mitigate legal risks

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification a plus).
  • Proven experience in HR management, ideally in a startup or early-stage company.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements in Portugal
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
