The Back-Office Analysts are responsible for settling the transactions booked by the Traders and Salesmen of trading rooms in Paris, London, Singapore and New York. Our customers include large corporates (French and international), institutional investors, BNP branches around the world, Central Banks and international high street banks. The main mission of the Investigations Analysts is ensuring the proper reconciliation of the accountings initiated by the FO’s bookings (FX, Money Markets and Precious Metals) including nominals and late-payment fees. They must also identify potential operational risks and escalate accordingly to the surrounding BO teams and/or their management.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Reporting and Monitoring
  • Build monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to support the Credit Transaction Management activity
  • Ensure the accurate and timely reporting and monitoring to the relevant stakeholders
  • Monitor and report the KPIs that measure the credit transaction management’s performance
  • Foster strong communications with, and provide on-going support to the Head of CTM, Chief Operating Officers, Senior Credit Officers, Delegation holders & Business Lines, Finance and Credit Admin/Client Service Desk
  • Participate as and when required in meetings, seminars, conferences and ongoing or future projects which have a direct or partial impact on CTM activities
  • Participate in the process of knowledge-sharing and cross-training regarding CTM and related processes and systems
  • Be responsible for remediation and correction actions
  • Identify data quality, integrity and protection issues, report and escalate issues / alerts to their Managers and appropriate stakeholders in the chain;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement process of data quality, integrity and protection in their scopes;
  • Contribute to the remediation processes.
  • Ensure the awareness of data in the scope
  • Own the technical expertise and data flow knowledge;
  • Provide and spread the data knowledge across players in their scopes.
  • Be an expert on all BNP Paribas’ credit systems

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance / Economics / Business
  • At least, 2 years of experience in Data Analysis
  • Fluency in English (French would be aplus)

About the team

Credit Transaction Management (CTM) is a dedicated Operating Line within CIB ITO. Its function is to ensure a 1st level of defence within CIB through an independent reporting, monitoring and control (a priori & a posteriori) of the risks taken by CIB on corporate clients applied on the entire credit chain - from Front Office support to ITO Servicing. A redesign of the CTM Target Operating Model has taken place to improve client satisfaction and turnaround time. During 2020, ITO Global Credit Operations (GCO) has successfully launched two support hubs in Portugal to serve credit management activities for selected sites across Europe. To leverage on the success of this transformation, the scope of hubs will increase and more activities transferred to Portugal.
