We're gearing up to take our brand to even greater heights!The RoleThe role can be based in Berlin or in Lisbon. The person hired for this role is trusted to define, build, operate, and evolve our quality assurance practices and automation competency. The engineering experience we look for is one that makes service validation as symbiotic as possible with our CI/CD, and we're investing in creating solutions that will boost our engineering productivity while improving our service quality.What you will do: Evolve our functional and non-functional quality assurance standards and practices Build out our testing approach and methodology Research and proactively recommend improvements for testing tools and techniques Provide feedback and insight on the creation of new automated tests and testing solutions Ensure automation is constantly running, analysing, and promptly reporting on failures Work within cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with engineers and product managers RequirementsWhat you will bring: 3+ years of experience in automating web- or mobile applications Excellent understanding of test design, testing levels and approaches Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile development methodologies Experience in UI and API testing. (Load testing is a plus) Experience with code based automated testing tools ( e.g. Cypress, Playwright, Selenium) Experience with at least one programming language Able to work in a self and fast-paced structured environment Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a self-motivated and autonomous mindset.
