The Feeting Room is a concept store with a unique approach to retail. Specialized in footwear and lifestyle items mostly produced in Portugal, it has stores in Lisbon and Porto as well as an e-commerce platform.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As our Store Manager and one of the faces of The Feeting Room in Lisbon, you will lead and manage all in-store activities to achieve sales and profitability.

You'll generate revenue by helping each costumer find exactly what they came in for or fall in love with our products. You will uphold our reputation by maintaining a unique retail experience.

You'll also hold the responsibility of ensuring consistent implementation of operating standards, including product stock and visibility, seasonal promotions, marketing initiatives and merchandise presentation.

You’ll ensure consistent leadership to your staff, namely by recruiting and hiring top talent, providing ongoing coaching and counseling, implementing marketing and sales strategies, and effectively managing your team’s performances.

Over time you will find yourself immersed in our vision and will be able to bring forward your own ideas to the job. You will be eager to develop your skills and will be able to brainstorm new ways of improving sales or new processes for keeping the store and the team organized and satisfied.

PROFILE

  • You have worked as a retail Store Manager for 2 to 3 years (preferably on the fashion industry);
  • You are a natural team player with strong leadership skills;
  • You are experienced in managing other people and delegating tasks in a timely manner;
  • You are organized, punctual and flexible regarding schedules;
  • You drive initiative and motivation for yourself and your team;
  • You are able to deliver training;
  • You are passionate about fashion and lifestyle brands;
  • You are communicative and find it easy to approach costumers;
  • Fluent English and Portuguese is mandatory;
  • Other languages are a plus.
